2008 call for scores

soundSCAPE guarantees the public performance of music by composers who attend the complete ten-day festival. Composers interested in attending the festival can apply here.

Composers unable to attend are encouraged to submit scores for possible performance at the 2008 festival. Works should be scored for solo or chamber settings of the following instruments:

flute, guitar, mandolin, piano, percussion, violin, and voice

Pieces may contain multi-movements, but should fall within a five to eight minute range. Works utilizing electronic media are also welcome. We make every attempt to provide our participant performers the experience of premiering a new work. Therefore, only those submissions that have as yet been unperformed will be considered. There is no fee required to submit your work. Selected composers are featured on the festival website.
