tuition fees

499 € for Italian citizens
        includes only tuition
        no meals/accommodation
799 € for Italian citizens
        includes tuition
        room (shared)
        3 meals/day
999 € non Italian citizens
        includes tuition
        room (shared)
        3 meals/day

Tuition includes entrance to all master classes,
lessons, workshops, daily instruction in Italian,
during the 10-day festival period of 15-25 July
2008. Not included in tuition is roundtrip travel
to the festival, or any individual travel outside
the festival.

scholarships

We have a limited number of partial scholarships
available. In order to be considered, applicants
must have met all registration deadlines, and be
enrolled in a degree-granting music program
(undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate levels).

Scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated
need, and on the merit of your application.
Additionally, preference may be given to qualified
applicants in areas with low participant numbers.

To apply, please indicate your preference on the
third page of the application pdf file. We will then
contact you for further information.

performance applicants

1) Submit a repertoire list of performed and
studied works from the 20th & 21st centuries (on
page 2 of the application).

2) Submit a recording of two contrasting works;
repertoire of any period is acceptable. Recording
should be live (un-edited) and reflect the
applicant’s current level of ability. This will be
used to assign a new piece for performance at
festival.

3) Include a 250 word maximum biography on
page 3 of the application.

Recordings must be received by 31 March 2008.

composition applicants

1) Submit ONE work of ANY instrumentation
or length (for evaluation); Include a MIDI/mp3.
Must be received by 31 January 2008.

2) Include a 250 word maximum biography on
page 3 of the application.

3) Upon acceptance, you will be requested to
submit an additional UNPERFORMED score(s)
for solo or chamber combination of the following
instruments: flute, guitar, mandolin, marimba,
piano, various percussion, violin, and voice.
Works with electronic media are welcome. This
piece will be performed at the festival and must
be submitted before 30 April 2008.
